In this blog post, I’m talking about “The Last of Us.” – this American post-apocalyptic TV series has been highly anticipated by fans of the video game, and if you’re like me, then the first season has left viewers (very) hungry for more!

If you’ve not seen it yet, the series is based on the highly acclaimed video game of the same name, and it follows the journey of Joel and Ellie across a post-apocalyptic United States, where they encounter dangers and face difficult decisions in order to survive. The show is produced by HBO and is directed and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, the writer and creative director of the video game. The show stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie, the two main characters within season one of the TV series.

Jericho (TV Series by CBS)

“Jericho” is a post-apocalyptic TV series that takes place in the aftermath of a nuclear attack on the United States. It’s personally one of my favourites, but when compared to others like the walking dead, is limited by only having two seasons, but that doesn’t mean to say that it doesn’t offer an awesome apocalyptic viewing experience. The show follows a small town in Kansas as they try to survive and rebuild in the wake of the attack. With its unique storyline and compelling characters, “Jericho” is a hidden gem that is definitely worth a watch.

The 100 (TV Series by The CW)

“The 100” is a post-apocalyptic TV series that takes place 97 years after a nuclear apocalypse has wiped out most of the human population. The show follows a group of survivors who are sent back to Earth to see if it is habitable. With its diverse cast of characters and complex plotlines, “The 100” is a show that is both thrilling and thought-provoking, with an extensive seven seasons to enjoy!

The Handmaid’s Tale (TV Series by Hulu)

“The Handmaid’s Tale” is a dystopian TV series that takes place in a totalitarian society where women are treated as property of the state. The show follows the journey of one woman as she tries to survive and find her way back to her family. With its powerful performances and timely themes, “The Handmaid’s Tale” is a must-watch for any fan of post-apocalyptic fiction.
