Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her son, Chelsea, joined the growing chorus of former U.S. officials criticizing the Obama administration’s handling of the Iran nuclear deal.
They joined former Vice President Joe Biden and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile, who have all called the agreement an “historic mistake” that has the potential to cause “catastrophic consequences.”
But for now, they’re not alone.
Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton, former CIA director Michael Morell and former National Security Council head Michael Flynn all expressed skepticism about the deal, with Morell saying that it “undermines the legitimacy of our democracy.”

ambassador Samantha Power has said the deal “undermine[s] the legitimacy” of the international system, and a top adviser to former President Trump, Kellyanne Conway, has said that it could be the “worst foreign policy mistake” of Obama’s presidency.
And former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told Fox News that he thinks it is a “grave mistake” for the U.s. to be part of it.
