Amazon is going to invest about $5.6 billion in the U.C.L.A. border wall, the company said Monday.
The announcement follows the White House’s announcement last month that it will invest $1.7 billion in an additional border wall to keep people from entering the U and to deter illegal immigration.
Amazon said it has invested more than $3 billion in border security projects in the United States since President Donald Trump took office.
Amazon is also planning to build its own border wall along the U’s border with Mexico.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year that Amazon was considering a $2 billion project to construct a border wall at the U-Mexico border.
Amazon will invest more than half a billion dollars over the next five years on its border security efforts, the Wall Street Bulletin reported.
It will spend more than that on border security and other border security measures.
The company said it will use $541 million from the new investment to “support the construction of a border barrier along the entire U.T.A.-Mexican border and other measures to deter, detect, and deter cross-border travel.”
